ElevDSM, otherwise known by his real name Jack, is an American elevator enthusiast based in Des Moines, IA, United States.
History[]
Jack started filming elevator videos in the summer of 2017. On January 20, 2019, he launched his YouTube channel.
Video Types[]
Jack runs three different video series for his channel. These include:
- Singles: Raw videos of different elevators/escalators of interest. These videos often feature commentary expressing Jack's opinion on the particular elevator/escalator he is riding.
- Lift-Off: Full tours of most if not all elevators and escalators in a particular building. These videos are carefully edited and usually feature minimal commentary.
- Vintage Elevator Appreciation: Detailed ride and information on a particular vintage elevator/escalator installed before 1980. These videos are usually uploaded raw and typically do not feature commentary.
