Elevator Dude (born March 23, 2005), also known as Liam McAtee, is an elevator enthusiast from Indiana. He films mostly in the Metro Indianapolis area (primarily Indianapolis and other surrounding cities).
History[]
He first became interested in elevators when he saw a video of an elevator from ems318 (now Eric Sturniolo) in mid 2013. He quickly began watching many other elevator videos and regularly visiting as many elevators as he could, and learning about them. In the summer of 2015, he started his YouTube Channel, and he made 2 elevator videos. He moved to Florida the next year, but upon moving back to Indiana in late 2018, he began heavily filming elevators, and becoming one of the most prolific elevator photographers on the internet.
In addition, his channel includes Roblox elevators, other video game elevators, escalators, abandoned places, short films, fire drills, trains, etc. His channel currently has over 1,500 videos, over 1,300 subscribers and over 700,000 views. He is the son of actor and film maker Lec Zorn. He acts in, films, and edits his father's movies. Many of the movies feature elevators.
Ever since the COVID-19 pandemic started in March 2020, he has filmed over 300 elevators since then. When his dad temporarily lost his job back in late March for 11 weeks due to the pandemic, his dad took him out to many elevators in that period of time.
