LEVCKS (formerly known as EVTT or TTElev), is an elevator photographer/filmer based in Hong Kong, China.

History

TTElev opened his YouTube channel on August 19, 2013. His first elevator video uploaded on his channel was an Otis elevator recorded in Quarry Bay Municipal Service Building, Hong Kong[1].

As the long hiatus of the elevator videos publishing, he decided resume uploading new content since December, 2018. Including some throwback videos not yet published around 2010s. 3 months later, the detailed Traditional Chinese description and titles translations (which supported by YouTube[2]) in the selected countries (Hong Kong, Macau and Taiwan) are supported for the videos uploaded since December, 2018 as most of the viewers are from Hong Kong. English description and titles are retained for the other readers[3]. Which being the first channel providing the localized title and description to the respective viewers.

In the beginning of 2023, he replaced his channel name as LEVCKS (Lift and Escalator Video Consolidation by Ko Sze). As he obtained the new pen name.

Trivia

  • He is the first Hong Kong elevator filmer to film a Schindler 5500 elevator, in Luk Yeung Galleria, Tsuen Wan, Hong Kong, which are the replacement from an old Fiam (then Otis refurbished) elevators[4].
  • He also owns another YouTube channel SkyscraperContentKS (former TTSkyscraper) for animated elevators and Skyscraper Simulator stuff videos (see link below).
  • He normally upload elevator videos on the 1st date each month.
    • After the 2 years hiatus, he changed to 22nd date each month except the special date.
      • He also expand to 6th date each month for the regular upload.
    • Starts from 1 January, 2021. The regular upload time table changed to every Wednesday and Friday or alternative Saturday.
  • He is the first animated elevators creator which using rage faces in his creation[5].
  • When he creates some animated elevator video, he build up some parodies in his creations:
    • "The Cere-us"[6] - "MelvinMan10 The Series" (in real MelvinMan10 Productions channel).
    • "Sword Arc Offline"[7] - Japanese light novel/anime series: Sword Art Online in real life.
    • "BusVision"[7] - Hong Kong's in bus Multimedia system: buzplay in real life.
    • "Busernet"[7] - Hong Kong's in bus WiFi service: Webus in real life.
    • "Leon"[8] - Japanese department store chain: AEON in real life.
  • He is a existing "Kantai Collection" (shortened as KanColle[9]) player[10].
    • He also being a "WACCA" (an arcade rhythm game) player as well, as he already applied some elements of this game within his some of the elevator videos[11], then he exposed that in at least one video[12].
  • On the December, 2018, He switched from American English to British English when he publishing the videos.
