Lift interest

His lift interest started when he was around 6. He enjoyed riding the lifts at the QVB, as they were "caged lifts" as his Mum said. The lifts at the time were Otis lifts modded by Johns Perry in the 1980s. They were then refurbished in the 2000s by Otis to have red Dewhurst buttons. The lifts today have been replaced with 2017 Otis Gen2s with the caged design, and red Dewhurst.
